Journal of today’s activities:
We have houseguests. Carole’s daughter Nichole and her boyfriend Michael arrived last night. They both recently graduated from Washington State University. Nichole plans to attend nursing school in the Bay area, so they’ll be staying with Carole and me for at least the next few weeks. So many people have helped us along the way and we’re happy to help Nichole and Michael as they settle here. I ran in the early morning and then I spent the entire day working on slideshows for four presentations that I’m scheduled to make over the next two days. Tomorrow I will travel to UC Davis, near Sacramento. I’m scheduled to make a presentation for two separate classes. On Wednesday morning I’ll make a presentation for the Santa Rosa Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force, and in the afternoon I’ll drive to Sacramento to make a presentation for the California Rehabilitation Oversight Board. It will be a busy two days of speaking. On Thursday evening I’ll lecture at SFSU on Custody and Classification systems, then, after I dismiss the class, Carole and I will drive to the San Francisco Airport for a flight to Seattle.
