Today I interviewed candidates who were potential new hires. Each of those candidates advanced through our extensive screening mechanism that I based on the Straight-A Guide. All of the candidates looked great on paper. In person, however, not all delivered the level of enthusiasm and confidence that I’m looking to instill in the culture we’re striving to build. I aspire to build a culture of self-driven individuals who are obsessively focused on success. I’m enthusiastic to master the challenges that come with building a bigger team. I love this role, though it keeps me extremely busy. I’m working seven days each week in order to keep up. I’ll continue this busy schedule until I build a team of 50, then train relentlessly so that we all have a unified vision and moving in the same direction.
