Today I went back to prison. The Washington State Department of Corrections opened its gates. My friend Justin and Paperny and I walked in to meet Michael Colwell. He leads the Correctional Industries division. When I say he “leads” the division, I mean it. Michael invests in best-in-class training programs to help his staff and the people who serve time inside the Washington State Prison System. Justin and I feel honored that he led the way in purchasing a one-year license to teach our Straight-A Guide Cognitive Skills Development Program inside the Washington State Prison System. In a year, we’ll evaluate our contribution with expectations of adding enormous value. Then we’ll implement a full-version of the Straight-A Guide, making it available to every person inside the Washington State Prison System.
