My mother-in-law, Linda, flew into town today to visit with us. Unfortunately, a busy scheduled limited the amount of time that Carole and I could spend to enjoy her company. I was working when Carole picked her mother up at the airport. They had lunch today, but then Carole had to return home quickly so that she could make more progress toward an assignment she has. I’m so incredibly proud of Carole’s commitment to excel in her graduate program. She is at the top of the class. Our commitment to work, however, leaves us with limited time for family After Carole graduates, we’re determined to scale back and work more sustainable, normal hours.
