A productive day always boosts my spirits. Today I wrote out a business plan for a new venture that I want to launch. I haven’t given the venture a name, and I don’t know how much I want to write about the venture online. It’s not that I’m worried that anyone will steal the idea, because ideas belong to everyone. Rather, I’m reluctant to write about the venture I’m about to propose until I’m ready to go live. It is anything new. I can provide the basics. Early this morning I wrote out a plan to launch a seminar business. The seminars will educate audiences on the importance of investing for the future. An investment, of course, is a commitment to delay gratification today in order to build more gratification tomorrow. This seminar will educate audiences on steps they may take to build a better tomorrow. As with all of my speaking engagements, I’ll present this story through the context of my journey. Rather than hiding from my past, I’m always eager to share the story because I’m convinced that others find inspiration and motivation in the message. That approach may prove helpful in these seminars I intend to lead.
