Responsibilities at work required that I take my attention off of Prison Professor. Sometimes I feel as if I’m working three full-time jobs. I have so much work that I’m not able to run every day, as I like. I’m still ahead of schedule with regard to my running log, but if I were not working so much, I would be running much more frequently. My besides writing for my “day job” today, I had a meeting with our COO and a candidate who may accept the role of CFO. We’re discussing the work that will be necessary to prepare an investment prospectus. That responsibility will require even more writing, and a lot of thinking as well. I am so grateful to have all of these challenges on my plate. I anticipate working very hard for another seven months. Once Carole completes graduate school, I’m promised her that I will slow it down some. I really must work hard now to get ready.
