Tell me a bit more about the crime you were involved in, if not already covered in the previous questions. What exactly did you do?
I perceived an opportunity to profit from the sale of cocaine. A popular movie at the time influenced my decisions during that reckless age of my early 20s. Still, I wanted to minimize my exposure to problems with the law. Not having previous experience with confinement, I mistakenly believed that I would not be in trouble so long as authorities never caught me with drugs. Accordingly, I negotiated with buyers and sellers. Then I hired others to transport cocaine between the two parties. That crime resulted in my being charged with leading an organization. It was the “leadership” role, in conjunction with the sale of cocaine that led to my lengthy sentence
