Journal of today’s activities:
After running 16 miles this morning, I finished drafting an agenda that will guide me through the first of four days of gang-interventionist training. The class will begin at 8:00 am and conclude at 4:00 pm in San Jose. Now I am preparing exercises that will help to engage the group in classes two, three, and four. Also, my friend Shon Hopwood invited me to keynote a lecture at the University of Washington Law School in April. So I’ll travel to Washington twice in the coming months. In March I will participate in a TEDx event at the Monroe penitentiary. I also will spend three days teaching the Straight-A Guide at two separate prisons. In April I’ll return for the law school speech, and I may have other business as well. Busy days ahead.
