When I was 20, I began making a series of bad decisions. I sold cocaine. In 1987, DEA agents arrested me. I faced a sentence of life in prison. I’d never been confined before. After a jury convicted me, my life changed. Instead of fantasizing about getting out of prison, I prayed for guidance. Those prayers led me to Socrates. Socrates became the first mastermind to guide me through my journey. That journey would carry me through decades in prisons of every security level. Through this mastermind course, I’m recording that message so that I can pipe it into prisons across America. I want to end mass incarceration. One way I can contribute is by living as the change that I want to see in the world, and by working to inspire more prisoners to emerge successfully.
