My wife and I moved from the condo where we’d been staying in Newport Beach to Irvine today. We really enjoyed living in Newport Beach since we moved down from our home in the San Francisco Bay area. The condo where we initially stayed was less than a half a mile from the beach. Every morning I woke early enough that I could begin my run by 4:00 am. I ran along the bike path between the Newport and Balboa piers. I loved feeling the breeze from the ocean, and being out there in the early morning alone, collecting my thoughts on how I would make progress toward goals I set through each day. Since the previous tenant was returning from Belize, Carole and I needed to find another place to live. She found a charming condo in one of the pristine communities that the Irvine Company developed. We signed a one-year lease, so Carole and I will enjoy our time together while she works toward completing her master’s degree in nursing and I work to build more stability for our family.
