Today I had another great day of writing. The lesson I wrote for Prison Professor concerned sentence-mitigation strategies. I’m convinced that individuals who face troubles with the criminal justice system can take some affirmative steps to prepare. Before it’s too late, they should prepare a coherent plan to guide them through the sentencing process. My failure to understand the criminal justice system contributed to the bad decisions that I made as a young man; those bad decisions led to the lengthy sentence I served. Through lessons I’m writing for Prison Professor, individuals will have much more insight to guide them. Besides a productive day of writing, I also had a productive day in the stock market, as some speculative trades I made paid off handsomely.
